About the Show
Strictly Ballroom the Musical is a musical theatre adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's award-winning film Strictly Ballroom. The Story
Strictly Ballroom follows Scott Hastings, a rogue championship ballroom dancer who defies the rules of the competition to follow his heart and compete with his left-footed, shy partner Fran. It’s an inspiring story of two beguiling dancers who discover that in order to be a winner; your steps need not be strictly ballroom. There is nothing vapid about this dazzling production as each character adds a dance move that leaves the audience in awe.
