Meet Elf's! new West End cast at the Dominion Theatre in 2023.

Adapted from the movie of same name featuring Will Ferrell, Elf! is set to grace the Dominion Theatre from November 15, 2023, to January 6, 2024.

Meet Elf's new West End cast and watch them make this year's Christmas memorable for you.


The headliners of the Christmas classic

Taking the stage in this winter season, Matthew Wolfenden from Emmerdale will portray Buddy, while Tom Chambers, known for Top Hat, will once again step into the shoes of Walter Hobbs. They will be joined by a talented cast, including Georgina Castle from Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia as Jovie, Rebecca Lock from The Phantom of the Opera and Avenue Q as Emily Hobbs, Nicholas Pound from Cats and The Rocky Horror Show as Santa, Kim Ismay from Wicked and Saturday Night Fever as Debs, and Dermot Canavan from Hairspray and Oklahoma! as the Store Manager. Adding to the dynamic lineup, Ben Lancaster from POLICE COPS: The Musical will take on the role of Buddy during certain scheduled performances.

The cast also features Rhys Batten from The SpongeBob Musical, Evonnee Bentley-Holder from Ain’t Too Proud, Marie Finlayson from TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, Aimée Fisher from Groundhog Day, Farirayi Garaba from The SpongeBob Musical, Alex Given from The Book of Mormon, Morgan Gregory from Disney’s Newsies, Samuel John-Humphreys from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Keir Hylands from Frozen, Dominic Lamb from Legally Blonde, Ellis Linford-Pill from We Will Rock You, Theo Reece from The SpongeBob Musical, Chloe Saunders from Grease, Heather Scott-Martin from Singin’ in the Rain, Jessica Spalis from MAMMA MIA! The Party, Katie Warsop from Annie, and Natalie Woods from Wind in the Willows.

Elf! features a book crafted by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan, accompanied by songs composed by the dynamic duo from The Prom, Matthew Sklar, and Chad Beguelin. Heading the London production is director Philip Wm McKinley, with choreography skillfully handled by Liam Steel. Tim Goodchild takes charge of set and costume design, while Patrick Woodroffe oversees lighting design and Gareth Owen is responsible for sound design. The meticulous casting process is executed by Grindrod Burton Casting.
