But, BUT, Cannes 2024 will shine the light on European movies - Anatomy of a Fall and The Zone of Interest, which were each nominated for five Oscars.

Don’t miss: If you’re at the festival, do not miss the Palojabon - which involves climbing up a two-storey high greased-up wooden pole with a Spanish ham at the top. Winner gets to keep the ham.
