It’s here! The grand spectacle of the 33rd Summer Olympics will be taking place in the City of Lights - Paris! It’s time for athletes to push their limits and inspire millions, while the viewers across the world cheer for them!

If you’re wondering about the exact dates of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris & locations as well, we’ve got you covered on that front. It will be held from July 26 to August 15 and the Paralympics from August 28 to September 8.

What to know about the Paris 2024 Olympics


  • New era, new sports: There are four additions to the Olympics scene – surfing, skateboarding, climbing, and breaking (competitive breakdancing)!
  • Sustainability at its core: Paris 2024 is aiming to be the greenest Games ever, aligning with the Paris Agreement and leaving a lasting positive impact. You’ll get to see this commitment in action with the Seine-Saint-Denis Olympic and Paralympic Village, conveniently located within 10 kilometers of most event venues.
  • Beyond the City of Lights: Experience the Games beyond the Parisian borders! Handball matches will be held at Lille, the waves of Tahiti will host surfing competitions and Football fans can catch the action in various stadiums across France.
  • Seine-Saint-Denis takes center stage: This vibrant Parisian suburb will not only house the media village but also host six exciting sports, including the Paralympic marathon and road paracycling.
  • Evening at the Eden Cinema: A concert “The Montagnard Choir” at 8:00 PM and live screening of “Beyond tradition: the power of natural singing” at 8:45 PM will be held at the Eden Cinema back to back, for a cozy night in.
