Arts Theatre Stalls

The Stalls makes up the larger section of the theatre with over 220 seats across 15 rows, starting from Row BB till Row N. Most seats in this section offer clear views of the stage barring a few which get obstructed by supporting pillars and the overhang of the section above. Seats at either end of Row J provide restricted views due to the presence of the pillars, and also certain seats in Row M and Row N offer restricted views as a result of the overhang. These few seats are priced accordingly and are therefore cheaper than the other seats in this section.

The best seats in this section are between 3-14 in rows B to H. Given the proximity of this section to the stage and the height of the stage, audiences sitting in the first couple of rows (BB - A) might have to crane their necks and look up at the action on stage.

Arts Theatre Circle

This section overhangs the Stalls section below and is very small with only 120 seats spread over 6 rows (A to F) and 2 slips. From the seats in this section, you will be looking down at the stage, but the distance is not much so you will be getting a complete view of the action. The section fans out in a horseshoe shape overlooking the stalls.

Please note that the slips in this section are benches and not individual seats, so it can get pretty uncomfortable sitting for a long show. The slips seats are listed as restricted view and are therefore cheaper than the other seats in the section.

Which Seats Offer The Best View?

As mentioned above, almost all seats offer good views due to the small size of the theatre. However, there are certain seats which are head and shoulders above the rest in terms of the views and overall experience they provide:
Stalls - Seats 3 to 14 in Rows B to H.
Circle - Seats 3 to 12 in Rows A to E.

These seats are perfect for an amazing West End experience as they are situated at exactly the right place - not too close nor too far from the stage, and in the middle of the best rows. You cannot go wrong with these seats.

Which Seats Offer the Best Value for Money?

If you are on a budget but still looking to enjoy a good West End experience, then read on as we have highlighted the seats in the theatre which offer decent to good views of the stage and which are not exorbitantly priced:

Stalls (Row BB to A): These seats are priced slightly cheaper than the rest as they are the ones closest to the stage, meaning you will have to look up a bit. Given that the show is only 1 hour and 20 minutes, it will not be too much of an adjustment to watch, especially if you are tall. Rows K and L are also decently priced and offer full views of the stage.

Circle: The Circle Slips are cheaper than the other seats in the section as they are marked as restricted view. However, you must know that your view is only slightly obstructed and you will still be able to see the majority of the stage. Seats in rows E and F are the cheapest in the theatre, given that they are the last rows of the theatre. However, due to the small size of the theatre, they are not too far away from the stage.
