The Prom Broadway Musical Story

Prom is cancelled in a small town in Indiana, and not because of the bad behavior of the students or any financial trouble. The trouble began when one student, Emma, wanted to bring her girlfriend to prom, which obviously didn’t sit well with the parents! But in their attempt to keep the school dance “straight”, the parents set the town up for a date with destiny.

The news of this small town injustice travels to a group of washed up, eccentric Broadway actors, and sensing a good opportunity for reinventing themselves (and their careers), the four head to town in an attempt to correct the injustice. Their attempts at social activism don't go unnoticed and instead make the situation far worse than they could have ever imagined. What begins as an attempt at fixing the issue, soon turns into total chaos, and Emma's future and the actors’ careers all hang in the balance.
