It was lovely, a bit crowded but to be expected. Enjoyed the French Impressionism exhibition very much thank you. The light lunch was also impressive and easy to locate.

The National Gallery of Victoria is a must see whilst in Melbourne and the French Impressionist Exhibition is so beautifully set up it is well worth the visit. The gallery has gone to a notable level of decor, to make the visitor feel like they are in Paris in the 1800s. The paintings are set up to sweep you through the artists' style and views, yet you can also sit back on the many stylish couches and chairs to sink deeper into a reverie that any paintng draws from you. Sensation, is the key word and it delivers.

The quality of the exhibits was wonderful, we loved that each diorama had a plaque with information about how many bricks went onto the construction of each piece, as well as how many hours. By far our favourite part was constructing part of the "Cloud City" mosaic. My sister and I are long time Star Wars fans and we feel we're connected to the exhibition now.

The cruise was nice and informative but we did not get the two hour cruise. Due to the weather, we only were able to do a one hour cruise.

A fun night. Cold but entertaining. Penguins arrived hesitantly but scurried quickly once the group was big enough. The displays in the Penguin Parade centre were interesting. Lots to see and do...

Ticketing was easy to follow and information and maps for the three activities were good. The staff at all three were really helpful, pleasant and made the experiences fun. It was fun getting close to the animals at Churchill Island and the highlight was milking the cow. Walking around the koala reserve and again getting to see them up close was special. The highlight of the afternoon was the penguin parade, particularly getting to see them as they went to their burrows, from the boardwalk. We all agreed that we had a great day. We self drove.
