The views from Melbourne Skydeck were amazing. Great to pick out all the landmarks and loved the way they were highlighted. Parks ans Gardens cruise was lovely too. Great to learn a bit about the sports arenas and gardens all around. Really helped to get besting in the city, especially as lit when coupled with the sky deck. Great info as well about the changing shape of the river to help keep Melbourne safe from glooding.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Must-Visit in Melbourne! Visited yesterday and I’m still buzzing about it! Melbourne Museum is genuinely one of the best museum experiences I’ve had. From the moment you walk in, the building itself is impressive — the architecture is bold and modern, and the open spaces inside make everything feel grand without being overwhelming. The dinosaur and fossil exhibits were the clear highlight for me. They’re beautifully presented, with enough detail to fascinate adults while still being visually stunning enough to stop you in your tracks. The overall atmosphere throughout the museum is calm, well-organised. Staff were friendly and the whole place was spotlessly clean.

I'm near on 74 and the curiosity evoked through the museum's material kept me bound for an age. Starting with the First Peoples presentation ( which was fairly strong, I particularly liked the art and personal stories. In my on view complexity and fidelity are areas for growth) Then into geology - again fantastic and the world of dinosaurs again captured me. The scale of things, like the blue whale. Guests 12 years and under must be accompanied by parents or guardians. The recommended age for VR experiences is 8 years.

For general Melbourne Skydeck viewing allow up to 45 minutes.

Bar 88 is located on the Skydeck and offers cocktails, fine wines, coffee, soft drinks, and gourmet pastries like pies, pasties, and sausage rolls. Purchases at Bar 88 are not included in your ticket and must be paid for separately.
