    • Natural History Museum: The National History Museum is a science museum of natural history collections of animals, plants, fungi, ecosystems, geology, palaeontology, climatology, and more. They also include interactive experiences to explore natural history.
    • Royal Museums Greenwich: Royal Museums of Greenwich gives four museums in Greenwich, namely, the National Maritime Museum, Queen's House, Royal Observatory, and Cutty Sark. The Royal Museums Greenwich tickets give you access to the National Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark and the Queen's House.
    • Imperial War Museum: Out of the 5 branches of the Imperial War Museum, 3 are located in London: Imperial War Museum London, HMS Belfast, and Churchill War Rooms that provide records of the civil and military war effort, and the sacrifice made by Britain during the First World War.

  • The best museums in London for kids are:

    • National Maritime Museum: A part of the Royal Museums Greenwich, National Maritime Museum is home to more than two million items of everything sea, navigation, and astronomical study.
    • Natural History Museum: Natural History Museum exhibits an exciting range of displays of life and earth science specimens comprising some 80 million items under botany, entomology, mineralogy, palaeontology, and zoology.
    • The Cartoon Museum: The Cartoon Museum is every child’s dream house comprising British cartoons, caricatures and comic strips of 5,000 books and 4,000 comics owned by the Cartoon Art Trust.
  • Skip-the-line tickets allow you to skip the long waiting lines at the ticket counter and enter the museum with a wave of the phone. While most museums have skip-the-line tickets, some only offer admission tickets. Alternatively, if you are purchasing guided tours, they by default include skip-the-line access to the museums.
  • City passes in London include skip-the-line access, Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour in London, and a free guidebook to famous museums such as:

I bought the skip-the-line ticket and it worked perfectly! We met with a representative near the museum who let us in through a side entrance. The ticket gives you access to an app where you can find explanations of the artworks — it would be better to have earphones. Great option to avoid the long entrance queue!

We had to squeeze the British Museum into the final day in London. Having a reservation to avoid the long lines on Easter weekend allowed us to have 3 full hours touring the wonders housed in this magnificent place.

As a fan of Paddington Bear, I wasn't disappointed by the scenery, the similarities with the characters and I appreciated the entertainment on offer. I liked the possibility of taking photos with Paddington Bear. I had a lot of fun during this experience!

It was easy to book the ticket on headout. Went to a smaller exhibition like this in Amsterdam and loved it. So had a mum and daughter day here, which was perfect.
