The tour of the Tower of London—which is so much more than just a tower—is truly captivating; it’s a beautiful, well-maintained place steeped in history. The line at the ticket counter was pretty long, so we bought tickets online right there through Headout. It also saved us money, since we now had the combo ticket. We had our Tower of London tour at 12:00 and Tower Bridge at 14:30—that was just enough time. If you really want to see everything at the Tower of London, you’ll need more time.

Overall, it was a great experience. There was a huge line when it opened, but everything was handled perfectly. I just wish there had been more places to eat, but that doesn't detract from the visit, which is really interesting. A must-do when you're in London—it's definitely worth the trip.

At the Tower of London, I really liked the way the exhibits were designed. They were very varied and exciting to explore. The informational texts were insightful and informative, but not too detailed, so it was a pleasure to read through them. At Tower Bridge, I especially liked the small information panels in the stairwells; they provided details about, for example, the height, width, or the number of liters of paint needed to breathe new life into Tower Bridge. I also especially liked how the information was presented in the glass-enclosed walkways, which offered a wonderful view. My absolute highlight was the glass floor you could walk across, which made you feel like you were walking right over the Thames.
