Both cathedrals were breathtaking. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We had to wait in th queue for appx 1 hour (we arrived at 9,15 am). The tour took 3 hours (and could be longer if we really stops everywhere). At Westminster you can go with the online ticket, but St. Paul's requires the paper one. So print it first otherwise there is a difficult procedure to get the ticket. We received electronic guides in both. The recommended application from the description in Headout did not work. I really appretiated the view from St. Paul¨s evend the stairs are really long (appx 500 stairs).

Review of Westminster Abbey – A Truly Breathtaking Experience Visiting Westminster Abbey was an absolutely incredible experience. To be able to walk through such a profoundly historic place — in its entirety — was something truly special. Every corner of the Abbey is filled with centuries of history, and you can genuinely feel the weight and significance of it as you explore. The architecture alone is awe-inspiring. The sheer beauty and grandeur of the building took my breath away. From the intricate details of the stonework to the stunning stained-glass windows, everything about the Abbey speaks of a deep and rich past. Whether you’re passionate about history, architecture, or simply want to experience one of the most iconic landmarks in London, Westminster Abbey is a must-visit. Unforgettable and deeply moving. Getting tickets through AXS (AheadOut) was also extremely easy and smooth — the whole process was hassle-free and straightforward. Highly recommended!
  • Westminster Abbey

One of London's oldest buildings, the Westminster Abbey boasts stunning Gothic architecture and exquisite stained glass. This iconic structure has hosted 38 coronations, starting with that of William the Conqueror. It has also seen the royal weddings of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and Prince William. You will also get to see the Coronation Chair, which was created for King Edward I in 1296 and has since been the seat for the crowing of every monarch. To explore Westminster Abbey is to take a trip back in time. It is here that 17 British monarchs, and other exemplary figures such as Isaac Newton and Charles Dickens, are laid to rest. Apart from the Coronation Chair, you will also get to see Poets' Corner, named as such due to the number of poets and writers buried there.
