Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark is hands down one of the most thrilling and unforgettable experiences in Dubai! The park is massive, beautifully maintained, and offers something for everyone — from extreme adventure lovers to families with kids. The slides are absolutely world-class, especially the Leap of Faith and Poseidon’s Revenge — pure adrenaline rush! I loved how organized everything was — lockers, towels, and cabanas are easy to access, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The lazy river and private beach area give a perfect break between rides. The best part is the incredible views of Atlantis and Palm Jumeirah while you float or slide. It’s definitely pricey, but worth every dirham for a full day of fun, excitement, and memories.

Our family visit to Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark in Dubai was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and full of excitement. The park is incredibly well-organized, with activities for every age — thrilling slides for adventure lovers, gentle river rides, and beautiful splash zones for the little ones. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the day. We loved the mix of adrenaline and relaxation — floating along the lazy river after the big rides was perfect! The views of Atlantis and the Palm added to the magic. It’s more than just a waterpark; it’s a place where families laugh, bond, and create lasting memories. Truly one of Dubai’s must-do experiences!

Visit the Dubai Aquarium, home to several sharks and sawfish and marvel at the 48-meter-long tunnel that gives you 270-degree views of the aquarium.

Check out the Underwater Zoo on level 2 where you can see divers feeding sharks and the Penguin Cove, home to 16 cute Gentoo penguins.

Later, gather up all your energy to try out all the thrilling rides on the 17 hectares of Aquaventure Waterpark.

I visited Atlantis Aquaventure recently with my wife and our two 8-year-old granddaughters, and we honestly could not have asked for a better day. It can be hard to find activities that work for a multi-generational group, but this was perfect. The girls were at the perfect age (and height) to enjoy almost all the attractions. We loved that there was a mix of thrilling slides for them and more relaxing options like the river rapids that we could all enjoy together as a family. The park is vast but well-organized. The staff were helpful, and safety was a top priority, which put our minds at ease. Tip for travelers: If you are bringing children around 8 years old, make sure to measure their height before queuing for the biggest slides to avoid disappointment, though there is plenty for them to do regardless! Also, arrive early to grab a shaded spot for your base.

Too expensive! You must buy an Xpress pass otherwise you will wait for too long to get on a slide. Which means the price per person is close to $400 AUD just to visit a waterpark.

Unique experience walking through the glass tunnel. The aquarium and the zoo are quite well maintained, and you get to experience the view from close quarters.

Wave at crocodiles, piranhas, giant spider crabs, otters, water rats, sea horses, and sea jellies here! See some cue Gentoo penguins hunt for their food at the Penguin Cove.

What's not allowed

Aquaventure Waterpark

Regular nappies/diapers are not allowed in any pool or attraction. Swim nappies/diapers are available in all gift shops.

You cannot bring food, beverages, glassware, or alcohol into Aquaventure Waterpark.

People with injuries (casts, bandages, etc) and contagious diseases are not permitted at the attractions.

Safety is a priority so waterpark rides are restricted for people under the weight of 50 kg and over 135kg. This does not apply to the children's park.

Abayas, sarees, long shirts or pants, undergarments, street clothes, cotton clothes, and see-through items cannot be worn in the water or on the rides.

Photography and videography are permitted. However, specific exhibits do not allow flash photography for the safety of the animals.

The average time spent at the Aquarium tunnel (Level 0) is 15 - 30 min. The Underwater Zoo (Level 2) takes about 45 min - 1.5 hrs. The Glass Bottom Boat ride lasts approximately 15 to 20 min.

Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult above 15 years at all times.
