The London production of the Michael Jackson Musical is an electrifying celebration of artistry, precision, and pure theatrical brilliance. From the opening moments, the show commands attention with flawless choreography that mirrors Jackson’s iconic style while still feeling fresh, dynamic, and alive. Every movement is executed with astonishing accuracy, yet the performers bring their own emotional depth, turning imitation into true interpretation. The lead performance is extraordinary—vocals, movement, and stage presence align so seamlessly that the spirit of Michael Jackson feels genuinely present without becoming a caricature. The live band delivers exceptional musical clarity, and the sound design allows every beat, harmony, and rhythm to resonate powerfully throughout the theatre. Visually, the production is stunning: lighting, staging, and transitions are cinematic, immersive, and meticulously crafted. What makes this musical truly special is its emotional impact. It’s not just a tribute to music, but a powerful reflection of discipline, ambition, creativity, and legacy. The storytelling feels purposeful, the pacing is sharp, and every scene adds meaning rather than filler. This is not simply a jukebox musical—it’s a world-class theatrical experience that leaves audiences energized, inspired, and deeply moved. A must-see production that sets a new standard for musical theatre in London.

Sitting in Dress Circle L15 at Prince Edward Theatre for MJ The Musical was an unforgettable experience. The view was absolutely perfect, every detail of the stage, every dancer, every expression, crystal clear. The seat had generous leg room and even seemed to vibrate with the energy of the music, making me feel like I was part of the show. The cast were phenomenal, bringing Michael Jackson to life with flawless vocals, iconic moves, and incredible energy. The sound was powerful, immersive, and perfectly balanced, while the visuals and lighting were breathtaking and electrifying. Every moment felt intense and alive. Truly one of the most thrilling theatre experiences I’ve ever had, and a night I will never forget! 🔥✨

from top to end it was a full of emotion ride! Main performer who did MJ is an explendid artist, from the dancing, to the singing to the acting, left nothing but greatness on stage. All other performers were amazing and each act was better than the previous one, I can´t even say which was my favourite, tears streamed down my face multiple times and would watch it over and over again!!!!

A magnificent theater in the bustling streets of London, an extraordinary show that brings MJ's life and career back to life. Exceptional performers, both as a young MJ and as an adult. Timeless music that is a pleasure to listen to again. A sublime show that my wife and I recommend to anyone spending even just one evening in London.

Simply incredible, whether you're a big fan or not. It's spectacular and well worth the price! Bear in mind that the actors' conversations are quite fast-paced, so at times it can be a little difficult to understand. But incredible nonetheless.

One of the best shows we've seen in London, electric atmosphere, super acting and singing.... The two main MJ actors were unbelievable, hopefully up for some sort of awards, they were seriosly that good....

    The story

Set during rehearsals for Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour, MJ The Musical in London blends flashbacks and present‑day prep to reveal his creative spark, personal struggles, and the high stakes behind the scenes. Audiences follow Jackson’s interactions with his creative team and family, exploring his drive for perfection, complex identity, and the pressure of fame, all while iconic songs punctuate the narrative. What emerges is not just a show, but a portrait of transformation, leaving you wondering: how will fame and artistry collide?

    Critics reviews

“We’re taken by Myles Frost’s spell-binding ‘MJ’ on a hectic ride… Christopher Wheeldon’s production is a superlatively directed and choreographed piece of absolute pizzaz.”

    - The Standard

“Each song has a message here… a spectacular second-act number shows MJ dueting with dance greats… the show’s avoidance of Jackson’s scandals raises ethical questions.”
