Combo: Burj Khalifa + Dubai Fountain Boardwalk Tickets

It was an amazing experience visiting floors 124 and 125. This was our first time going to the top of the Burj Khalifa. As we followed the signs, we noticed a counter that said “Burj Khalifa tickets sold here.” We joined the queue, but when we finally reached the ticket desk, we learned that the affordable tickets were already sold out and only the very expensive ones were available. We then checked online and found tickets for AED 259 (usually AED 159). We went back to the counter to ask whether those tickets were available. Even though we only wanted to enquire about the price, the staff insisted that we stand in the queue again. There was no price display board, which would have helped people decide without waiting. Later, we discovered that they were not official ticket partners. We moved ahead and found a long queue with different categories. One queue was specifically for online ticket holders, and it was very long. We asked around and were advised that booking through Headout is safe, as there are many scams related to ticket bookings. We used Headout, and the process was simple—just a few clicks to complete the purchase. Because it was New Year, the place was very crowded. At one point, we felt like leaving instead of standing in such a long queue. But we also thought that if so many people were waiting, the experience must be worth it. So we stayed, and it turned out to be truly unexpected and mind-blowing.

The view from the top is absolutely fantastic, BUT, to actually get to that point was a nightmare. We pre booked tickets for a specific time, eventually arrived at the burj Khalifa 1.15 mins before our time, poor signage inside the mall to get you there didn't help. Huge queues to get in, went to the entrance to get some guidance, was told to join the queue at the back!! At this point it's worth mentioning in the mall there is a counter selling tickets , and they join the very same queue that we joined with our pre booked time allocated ticket!! The organisation is possibly the worst I have ever experienced at a venue like this, it took 2.5 hours to actually get to the entrance, 2 or 3 people on the ticket desk, where we are directed to to collect our actually tickets?? Ridiculous system, it's the whole point of pre booking surely!! We were told from that point it's at least another 2/2.5 hours to reach the observation level!! We upgraded to vip and was up on floor 148 in 25 mins!! Hardly anyone managed the queues, people were pushing in all the time. There clearly needs to be a rethink on how to improve access.

We booked the 6:30 AM slot via Headout (not the earliest one) to align with the 7:04 sunrise. The strategy was perfect: no queue for ascent. The reality on the 124th floor: the area by the glass was already crowded, making it challenging to get an unobstructed view immediately. With a bit of patience, we secured a front-row spot for the breathtaking sunrise. The main queue we encountered was for the descent (waited ~30 min at ~7:30 AM). Key tips: 1. Timing: Arrive 30-40 mins before sunrise to skip entry lines. 2. Crowd Management: Expect and accept crowding at the windows. Don't get frustrated; wait for your turn. 3. Exit Plan: The descent queue builds up fast. Factor in extra time. Headout's service was flawless. A magnificent experience with manageable downsides if you're prepared.

We booked the combo for Ferrari world and at the top. The ticketing experience with Headout was seamless with us only requiring the QR code to redeem our tickets at both attractions. Since we we're here around new year's the crowds were pretty huge which translates to long queues for each ride. I'd definitely recommend skip the line tickets for Ferrari world. It may not be required for other attractions as you wouldn't necessarily miss out on any part of the experience without them. Also recommend booking in advance as the counter prices are significantly higher.

IMG and the Burj were amazing. Great combination set of tickets which made our experiences at both venues very seamless. All the tickets were contained in a single app. The Burj was exactly as I thought it would be and IMG was one of the best theme parks we experienced. Great rides and super quality entertainment.
