With a capacity of 746 seats, the Wyndham's Theatre is one of the smaller mainstream West End theatres. Despite the relatively small seat-count, the theatre features four separate seating sections, namely stalls, royal circle, grand circle, and balcony. Let's look at each section in detail to help you identify the best seats in the house according to the Wyndham's Theatre seating plan. Our guide to Wyndham's Theatre Seating Plan will be useful when you're booking tickets for Leopoldstadt and Life of Pi .

Wyndham's Theatre Stalls
The only section without any elevation, the Wyndham's Theatre stalls is also the biggest seating area in the house with 363 seats. There are no aisles to separate the seats in this section, forming a single large block. There is an aisle behind row P that segregate the last two rows and standing room from the rest of the rows. A gentle rake starting from row H ensures that all seats offer a great view of the stage. The front three rows are quite close to the stage and the view can be partially restricted depending on the performance.
The stalls section has 17 rows in total starting from A and ending with R. The seats in these rows are numbered in the range of 3 to 28 moving right to left.

Wyndham's Theatre Royal Circle
The first of three elevated sections in the theatre, the royal circle holds a total of 173 seats. The royal circle features excellent sight lines and often, seats here are considered better than most of the stall seats. Like the stalls, the royal circle also has a single block of seats without any aisles. The front rows experience a slight curve towards each end but this doesn't make much difference in the view offered due to the excellent rake the section features. The overhang for the grand circle section begins from row E and causes minor restriction to the view offered.
The Royal Circle only has 7 rows from A to G and the seats fall in the range of 3 to 30. There are two sets of box seats on either side of the theatre as well but they're nothing to write home about.

Wyndham's Theatre Grand Circle
Next up is the grand circle housing a total of 114 seats that are placed in a single block. Given the fact that this section curves around the stage, the view offered can feel quite distant from all the action in the stage. The curve also lends the corner seats of all rows to offer a side view of the stage. These seats are still decent as long as there is no technical equipment in front of the stage. Overall, seats in this section are quite cramped and offer very limited legroom.
The grand circle features only four rows from A to D and the seats are numbered in the range of 2 to 30. This section also features two sets of box seats on either side.

Wyndham's Theatre Balcony
The last seating section in the Wyndham's Theatre is the balcony. With only 96 seats, the balcony is split into two subsections with an aisle running in between. There are five rows in this section falling in the range of A to ST, which is the standing row. The seats are numbered in the range of 2 to 15. The front row of this section offers a restricted view of the stage due to the safety rail. Given the height this section is at, seats here offer a pretty distant view of the stage. Seats in this section are ideal for patrons looking to experience the show on a budget.

Which Seats Offer The Best View?
It goes without saying that the quality of your West End experience is directly correlated to the seats you pick. Pick a bad seat and the show will pretty much be ruined for you. If you don't mind spending a little extra on tickets, you should opt for the best seats and we have selected just those for you! The middle seats in the front rows of the royal circle, specifically rows B to F, are considered the best in the house since the view offered is excellent and there are no restrictions. The middle rows of the stalls section are also uniformly great due to the excellent rake of the section.
Which Seats Offer the Best Value for Money?
It's completely understandable to not be willing to spend upwards of £100 on a single West End ticket. But don't let that stop you from watching a show you have been looking forward to. There are plenty of value-for-money seats available at the Wyndham's Theatre. The middle rows in both the grand circle and the balcony, while steep, offer a pretty direct and clear view of the stage. You can also opt for the corner row seats in the stalls and royal circle since they are priced differently from the middle seats. The last few rows of the royal circle are also decent if you avoid the grand circle overhang.
