Are there any discounts or reduced prices on NOL Card?

Children below 5 years can travel for free without a card. 50% discount will be available for Students, Social Affair and Senior Citizens or residents, as well as free travel for people with special needs.

What is the minimum and maximum value allowed on a NOL Card?

The minimum value you need to have on your card for a journey is AED 7.50. The maximum value you can store on a Nol Card is AED 5000 (Gold Card)

How can I check the balance of my NOL card?

Everytime you tap in/tap out, the balance will flash on the ticket machine screen. You can also view your balance from any ticket vending machine, ticket office or even online.

How many times a day can I use my NOL Card?

You can use your NOL Card as many times as your card balance permits.

Can I refund my NOL Card?

Yes, you can refund any remaining e-purse value on your Card. Note, there will be a refund charge of either AED 5 or 2.5% of the e-purse value, whichever is higher.

Should I buy a NOL Card or a NOL Ticket?

Cards are ideal if you are a frequent traveler or wish to travel across different modes of transport using a single card. Tickets are ideal for visitors and occasional travelers.

Are NOL Card fares different at weekends? Or off-peak times?

No. The fares remain the same throughout the week.

Can I use the NOL Card outside of Dubai, in other Emirates of UAE?

No. The NOL Card is valid only within Dubai.
