Pro tips to help you make a pick

Choose the Standard Day Ticket if you want full-day access to exhibits and daily shows. It does not include special experiences such as animal encounters.

Animal Encounter Experiences last 30 minutes to 1 hour and do not include general zoo entry. You need to book zoo admission separately.

Audio guides are available for rent rather than included with Standard Day Ticket. Check your ticket details carefully if commentary matters to you.

Annual Membership is the best-value option for repeat visits, with unlimited entry for 1 year plus discounts on food and retail.

Plan for 3-4 hours inside the zoo when choosing your entry time. That gives enough time for major exhibits, talks, and breaks.

For fewer crowds and the best chance of catching morning feedings, book a weekday visit early in the day, around 10 am.

If you want a bundled day out, compare combo tickets with the London Eye, Madame Tussauds London, or a flexible River Thames sightseeing cruise.

Why visit ZSL London Zoo?

Over 8000 Animals Across Hundreds of Species

ZSL London Zoo brings together over 8000 animals across hundreds of species in Regent’s Park. The collection ranges from big cats to penguins, giving visitors a broad look at wildlife within a single zoo visit.

Land of the Lions Walkthrough Habitat

Land of the Lions recreates the setting of India’s Sasan Gir and lets visitors walk through an immersive environment built around Asiatic lions. The exhibit includes details such as a train station and crumbling ruins, adding a strong sense of place to the animal viewing.

Penguin Beach with Underwater Viewing

Penguin Beach lets you watch Humboldt penguins above and below the waterline. Its pool holds 450,000 liters of water and was designed to mimic the South American coastline, giving the exhibit a more habitat-based feel than a standard enclosure.

Butterfly Paradise’s Free-Flying Tropical House

Butterfly Paradise is a tropical space filled with free-flying butterflies and exotic plants. Here, you can also observe the butterfly lifecycle up close, from chrysalis to full-fledged butterfly.

Your Visit Supports Over 50 Conservation Projects

ZSL London Zoo is part of ZSL, a leading conservation charity, and the zoo is actively involved in over 50 conservation projects worldwide. A visit connects animal exhibits with wider conservation work rather than treating the zoo as entertainment alone.

We had a great time, the London on there wasn't a que even thought it was half term was expecting it to be busy, great experience , River cruise, was great only issue is we got left in a completely different area, and the only way we could get back was to pay again! Even though we had paid for the experience! Which paying for return should have been included in our ticket!

It was peaceful and pleasant at the zoo thanks to the warm weather. There were no lines anywhere. The gorillas were the best part, and the food at the restaurant was the worst.

Our recent visit to the London Eye was truly one of the most memorable family experiences we have had in London. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was exciting and full of energy. The London Eye is such an iconic landmark, and seeing it up close was already impressive, but the actual ride exceeded all our expectations. The journey lasted around 40 minutes, and every single minute was enjoyable. As the capsule slowly moved higher, we were able to admire breathtaking panoramic views of London. The city looked absolutely beautiful from above. We could clearly see famous landmarks like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, and many other stunning buildings across the city. The slow movement of the wheel gave us enough time to relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy every moment without feeling rushed. What made the experience even more special was sharing it with my family. My daughter especially loved the visit. She was so excited throughout the ride and could not stop taking pictures from every angle. The glass capsule provided such clear views that she managed to capture some amazing photos of London’s skyline. Watching her excitement and happiness made the entire experience even more meaningful for us as parents. It was wonderful to see her enjoying herself so much and creating memories she will surely remember for a long time. The capsules were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Even though there were other visitors inside, it never felt crowded. The staff members were also polite, helpful, and well organized, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. From entering the attraction to completing the ride, everything was managed professionally. Another thing we loved was the peaceful feeling once we reached the top. Looking over the city from such a height felt magical and calming at the same time. It gave us a completely different perspective of London. The views during sunset were especially stunning, with the city lights slowly beginning to shine. It created a beautiful atmosphere that made the experience even more unforgettable. The London Eye is definitely a must-visit attraction for families, tourists, and anyone wanting to enjoy one of the best views in London. It is not just a sightseeing ride; it is an experience filled with excitement, relaxation, and beautiful memories. We left with smiles on our faces and countless photos to remember the day. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the London Eye, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London. The combination of amazing views, a relaxing 30-minute journey, and precious family moments made it worth every second. It was truly a wonderful experience, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

The Express Pass really comes in handy depending on the time of day. We went through the regular line for Sea-Live. The London Eye gets really crowded around noon, so the fast track was perfect. Plus, they’re right next to each other.
