The view from the terrace of the Altar of the Fatherland was spectacular. The tour inside Palazzo Venezia was also particularly interesting, complete with descriptions of the rooms.

I loved it because, as a Christian, I even cried. Paul and Peter suffered greatly, and none of that suffering caused the church to fall apart; on the contrary, it grew even more than they could have imagined at the time, and today the church is deeply blessed by God... I have no words to describe the emotion I felt 🙏🏽😍🌹

Tickets for the Colosseum at 10:00; we were already at the Mamertine Hill at 8:30 to pick up the tickets and visit the little museum there. It all went pretty smoothly. Then we strolled back toward the Colosseum, had a nice bite to eat and a drink, and finally visited the Palatine Hill and the Forum. It’s perfectly doable in a morning and afternoon.
