Mamertime Prisison is a unique experience. You can feel the wheight in the atmosfera due to the big fathers of Christian faith that were prisions there. I got deeply emotional when I got deep inside in the prision. Looking at the stone that served as pillow for Apostoles Peter and Paul was to dificulty for me as a Christian.

The view from the terrace of the Altar of the Fatherland was spectacular. The tour inside Palazzo Venezia was also particularly interesting, complete with descriptions of the rooms.

Great organization, very clear instructions in the app. Everything went smoothly. We hardly had to wait at the Colosseum—so the afternoon time slot was perfect. Another cool feature: if you download the app from the link in the email, it automatically pulls up all the information about your booked tickets, so you don’t have to set anything up.

It was extremely difficult to get the ticket because there were apparently incorrect announcements about where to pick it up. A 40-minute walk, a missed time slot at the Colosseum—really a bummer. Why can’t you get the ticket online? Then I had to make several in-person visits to two offices; the staff were super friendly and super helpful. I would never book this ticket again—it’s too unclear what’s included, too expensive, and too old-fashioned.
