  • Amsterdam's most famous landmarks include Anne Frank House, Jordaan neighborhood, Dam Square, Royal Palace of Amsterdam, West Church, National Monument, De Poezenboot, Oude Kerk, Weeping Tower, and many more. Here's a quick look at the top ones:
    • Anne Frank House: A scarring indictment of Nazi Germany, Anne Frank House is a biographical museum in Amsterdam. It is dedicated to Anne Frank, a young Jewish writer who documented her life in hiding from the Nazis. An Anna Frank walking tour will take you across the museum and the house while hearing about her story and the horrors of the Holocaust.
    • Royal Palace of Amsterdam: A magnificent symbol of Dutch royalty, the Royal Palace of Amsterdam is used for important state functions by the monarch. Its opulent architecture and elaborate interiors make it worth a visit.
    • Jordaan: One of the most popular neighborhoods in Amsterdam, the centrally-located Jordaan is home to vibrant houses, great local eateries, and quirky stores. A walk through Jordaan is a great way to spend your day and discover the local culture.
    • Dam Square: In the heart of the city lies the bustling Dam Square, once considered to be the main transport hub of the city and is today connected to almost all important regions. It is surrounded by several important monuments and dotted with various eateries and shopping stores.
    • Oude Kerk: Said to be the oldest building in Amsterdam, Oude Kerk, translated as Old Church, is a beautiful chapel made of age-old stone and wood. The church is said to have one of the best acoustics in Europe, with pipe organs dating back centuries.
  • The oldest landmark is Oude Kerk, dating back about 800 years. It is located in the De Wallen neighborhood of Amsterdam. Once a Catholic church, it was converted later to a Protestant cathedral during the Reformation period. An interesting highlight of Oude Kerk is the two monuments located outside, dedicated to the Red Light District sex workers.
  • The 5 most-visited landmarks in Amsterdam are:
    • Anne Frank House
    • Jordan
    • Dam Square
    • Royal Palace of Amsterdam
    • Homomonument
  • There's plenty to see and do in Amsterdam if you're looking for offbeat experiences. Here's a quick look at some underrated attractions in the city:
    • De Poezenboot: Prepare to be delighted as you visit the world's only cat shelter on a boat. Visitors can meet and play with the cats and other small animals for free. A small gift shop is also located here and De Poezenboot is also open for adoption.
    • Theatre Tuschinski: The awe-inspiring architecture of Theatre Tuschinski is worth exploring. Two tall towers flank both sides and ceramic sculptures adorn the theatre, while the facade blends multiple architectural styles such as Art Deco and Art Nouveau.
    • Montelbaanstoren Tower: Located on the banks of Amsterdam, the Montelbaanstoren Tower was once a defender of the city. Today, while it houses commercial offices, it is a wonderful monument to admire classy architecture and scenic views.
    • Prinseneiland & Realeneiland: These islands in Amsterdam are quite a rare find. Frequented only by the odd creative visitor, these picturesque islands have lovely bridges, age-old warehouses, a petting zoo, and quaint houses.
    • Ransdorp: This charming Dutch village offers great insight into the quiet, rural side of Amsterdam while being located in the city. Bike around the village and enjoy sights of geese, dairy farms, and clear lakes.
  • There are not many days on which Amsterdam's landmarks offer free visits. However, there are plenty of exciting free things you can do for free and museums you can visit.

A blooming marvelous time in Amsterdam! The tulips were showing off in full color—like nature’s own fashion week! Everywhere we looked: petals, colors, and more petals. And as if that wasn’t enough, Easter Sunday gifted us the most beautiful weather (seriously, who bribed the clouds?). Thank you, Amsterdam, for the flower power and sunshine—10/10 would frolic again!

It was very helpful to have the audio guide, it made the exhibition more interesting and I recommend it to everyone. Also convenient were the lockers to put bags and coats. The only negative note was that I felt cold. Perhaps it would be helpful to have arrows to follow so as not to miss any works. Overall a good experience that I recommend if you go to Amsterdam.

The gardens were amazing! We saw so many beautiful flowers and spent the entire day wandering around. We checked out all the gift shops, flower exhbitions, and some of the cafes. It was the best honeymoon! Tickets with Headout were easy and we had no problems entering the garden. Their app is easy to navigate and helps to keep organized!

Ok ok ok beautful I liked it a lot, especially knowing that Palmeiras will never be world champions, and that the greatest team in the world is Corinthians.
