Experience Japan's cherry blossom season right in Singapore at Gardens by the Bay's Sakura display (March 8 - April 6, 2025). This year the Flower Dome bursts with 40+ cherry trees in full bloom, celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special Fukuoka showcase. Snap perfect photos under pink blossoms, explore the stunning Kokura Castle replica, and enjoy Japanese treats.

Escaping the city’s hustle-bustle

Inside Gardens by the bay, the noisy city feels miles away. You can explore a tropical mountain range, feel the cool Mediterranean breeze, and wander through gardens that remind you of South East Asia. It gives you the experience of different climates, altitudes, Horticulture and four themed outdoor gardens. Once you step into this place, you are truly going to feel one with nature.

Futuristic greenhouses

Gardens by the Bay is known for its high-tech conservatories with sleek glass structures. These soaring domes allow visible sunlight while keeping the heat at bay. They are also the world's largest column-less greenhouse.

Sculpting stories

The Gardens here exhibit public art. The local and international artists bring in about 40 sculptures. These indoor and outdoor sculptures celebrate and represent cultures, beliefs and identities of Singapore, New Zealand, China, Australia and many more.

The iconic light show

Your eyes are in for a treat at the Garden Rhapsody nighttime show. The artificial Supertrees at the Gardens light up with hundreds of LED lights and move to local and internationally known tunes. The soundtracks include theme songs from Jurassic Park and The Little Mermaid. They also house restaurants where you can enjoy the dinner with a great view of the light show.

Themed gardens

Gardens by the Bay is not just about the Supertrees or the conservatories. You can walk around a variety of themed gardens that showcase the diverse plant life. From the Indian Garden that reflects the deep influence of Indian culture on Singapore to the Chinese Garden that shows the philosophical basis of Chinese garden art, there’s a lot to explore.

Location and accessibility

Gardens by the Bay is located in the heart of Singapore and is easily accessible. Its location offers stunning views of the Marina Bay skyline. After exploring the gardens, you can enjoy the surrounding attractions like Marina Bay Sands, ArtScience Museum, and more.

Highlights

Supertree Grove

Stand tall with the Supertrees. As you look up, you'll see these iconic tree-like vertical gardens, designed with large canopies to provide shade. Every tree here is designed to be Eco-friendly, collecting and re-using rainwater for fountain displays. The 18 Supertrees in the Grove aren't just sculptures; they host over 200 plant species and transform into a captivating light show after sunset.

Flower Dome

The Flower Dome, a part of the Gardens by the Bay conservatories, holds the title of the world’s largest glass greenhouse. As you walk through this dome, you’ll notice how it faithfully recreates the cool-dry climate found in Mediterranean regions. Inside, a diverse collection of plants from deserts around the world thrives. And keep your eyes peeled—you can spot the Vanda Joaquim, Singapore’s national flower!

Cloud Forest

Cloud Forest, home to the world's tallest indoor waterfall, features a mountain of mist, waterfalls, and orchids inside. You can take a walk in the clouds—literally! You can spot a collection of hidden floral gems from around the world. Inside the Flower Dome, you’ll find fascinating plants like Carnivorous Venus Flytraps and epiphytes. These are the kinds of plants you’d typically discover in far-off mountains or hidden corners of the world.

Far East Organization Children’s Garden

You can take your kids to this recreational space where they can have a great time while soaking up plant knowledge. They've got water play, toddler play zone, Rainforests treehouse, and Amphitheatre.

OCBC Skyway

The OCBC Skyway is an aerial bridge suspended 22 meters above the ground. It’s your ticket to seeing Gardens by the Bay and the Supertree Grove from a whole new perspective. You can walk on this bridge, surrounded by greenery, and look down at the horticulture. And guess what? You’ll also get bonus views of Marina Bay and all the other attractions in the garden.

Supertree Observatory

The Supertree Observatory is like the VIP spot at Gardens by the Bay. It’s located at the highest point in the gardens, so you get great views of the Singapore cityscape. Look around, and you’ll spot: Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer, and even the ArtScience Museum. You’ll also see the Flower Dome, the Cloud Forest, and other garden wonders. The light show is free, but the paid view from the observatory is totally worth it!

Main Entrance

Main Entrance

Located conveniently near Marina Gardens Drive, the Main Entrance is the primary access point for all visitors, including those with disabilities. To reach this entrance by bus, take route number 400 and alight at the Gardens by the Bay bus stop, situated just a few meters away.

Entrance Timings: Open daily from 5 AM to 2 AM, allowing visitors to enjoy the gardens at various times throughout the day.

Flower Dome Entrance

Situated close to the Cloud Forest, the Flower Dome Entrance provides access to this specific attraction. If you are arriving by taxi, step off near the main entrance at Marina Gardens Drive. Alternatively, bus 400 stops at the Gardens by the Bay bus stop. Follow the path toward the Floral Clock to find the entrance to the Flower Dome.

Entrance Timings: Open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, ensuring extended hours for visitors to explore the beauty of the Flower Dome.

Floral Fantasy Entrance

Floral Fantasy Entrance

Designed for MRT commuters, the Floral Fantasy Entrance is easily accessible if you are taking public transportation. Alight at Bayfront Station, take Exit B, and follow the underground linkway. The entrance, opposite Bayfront Plaza, can be reached by crossing the Meadow or Dragonfly Bridge within Gardens by the Bay.

Entrance Timings: Open from 10 AM to 7 PM on weekdays, with extended hours until 8 PM on weekends, providing flexibility for both weekday and weekend visitors.

wasn't expecting to enjoy it this much, but the attention to detail is incredible. Every zone feels like you've stepped into a completely different world - from Ancient Egypt to Sci-Fi City and New York. Even just walking around is an experienec. The Transformers ride absolutely lived up to the hype, and seeing Bumblebee parked outside was a nice touch. The Ancient Egypt entrance was stunning and probably one of the most impressive themed areas I've seen. The park is clean, well-organised, and easy to explore in a day. Whether you're into thrilling rides, movie-themed attractions, or just taking great photos, there's something for everyone. If you're visiting Singapore, I'd definitely recommend setting aside a full day for Universal Studios. It was worth every minuteee. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An amazing experience. The park is easy to navigate, not the biggest Universal studios but still plenty to do. We spent 10 hours and had an Express pass. Worth every penny. A must visit to anyone visiting Singapore and Srntosa island.

Buying the combo was so worth it. Instructions to get there was clear to help make our journey easy. The view from the cable car was stunning. But the highlight was definitely Oceanarium. From the staff to the spectacular sealife. We would definitely do this again and more on Sentosa Island.

The Cable Car SkyPass was one of the highlights of our trip. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially seeing Sentosa Island and the city skyline from above. The ride was smooth, well organized, and the cabins were clean and comfortable. It was a unique way to experience Singapore from a different perspective. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore. It was definitely worth it.
