The Floral Heritage of Singapore
Make way to Gardens by the Bay, a must-visit when in Singapore! Escape reality as you stroll through the horticultural garden attraction, the Serene Garden, or enter the Sun Pavilion to admire the amazing desert-like landscapes. The Heritage Gardens, on the other hand, will take you through the history and culture of Singapore’s three main ethnic groups (Chinese, Malay, and Indian) and its colonial past through the plants that are linked to each group. See some of the most primitive plants in the world at World of Plants, and observe four mystical sculptures in the form of a giant dragonfly, a metal dragon, and two Chinese totems at The Canyon. When you need a break, spend some quality time by the Dragonfly & Kingfisher Lakes.
Blooming Gardens that Transcend Reality
Your ticket also includes access to Floral Fantasy, home to over 3,000 curious plants that range up to more than 150 species! Explore the four different landscapes here, such as 'Dance,' where 1,500 flowers hanging upside down greet you. 'Float' is famous for its Hanging Floral Chandeliers, created out of Phalaenopsis orchids and tillandsias, whereas 'Waltz' is a rainforest best known for its community of Poison Dart Frogs! The final landscape is 'Drift,' where you will find 50 species of exotic South American orchids and 30 species of begonias, huperzias, and mosses growing on the rock surfaces!
