The Aquarium and Underwater Zoo was extraordinary, but the Burj Khalifa not so much. There's nowhere to sit and have a quiet drink, very uncomfortable. If you want to wait for the sunset, you have to sit on the floor.

Head to Level 52 of Palm Tower to enjoy 360° views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and Dubai’s skyline from The View at The Palm.

Visit The View Exhibition to learn about Palm Jumeirah’s history and construction through interactive displays. You can also step onto The Ledge, where eight glass platforms extend 1.5 metres beyond the viewing deck.

See a variety of marine life, including sharks, rays, sawfish, and otters, at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.

Walk through the 48-metre-long aquarium tunnel, which takes you 11 metres underwater for close-up views of marine life in one of the world’s largest suspended aquariums.

Fun fact: Dubai Aquarium is home to one of the world’s largest collections of sand tiger sharks.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

Explore Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo at Dubai Mall and see thousands of aquatic animals across hundreds of species. Walk through the 270-degree acrylic tunnel for close-up views of marine life swimming around you. Then head to the Underwater Zoo on Level 2 to explore exhibits featuring penguins, crocodiles, piranhas, giant spider crabs, otters, water rats, seahorses, and sea jellies. Learn more about these animals and their habitats as you move between the displays.

The View at The Palm

Located in Palm Tower on Palm Jumeirah, The View at The Palm offers 360° views of the island, the Arabian Gulf, and Dubai’s skyline from Level 52, 240 metres above ground. Palm Tower is home to The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, luxury residences, and an infinity pool on Level 50. At the observation deck, you can also step onto The Ledge, where eight glass platforms extend 1.5 metres beyond the viewing deck, offering a different perspective of Palm Jumeirah.

Photography and videography are permitted. However, specific exhibits do not allow flash photography for the safety of the animals.

The average time spent at the Aquarium tunnel (Level 0) is 15 - 30 min. The Underwater Zoo (Level 2) takes about 45 min - 1.5 hrs. The Glass Bottom Boat ride lasts approximately 15 to 20 min.
