Travel guides and tips

  • London plays are some of the most beautiful productions in the world of theatre. Expressive acting, decked-up sets and intriguing storylines - what more can you ask for? Many London plays have been around for years, having passed the test of time. Yet, every year, new London plays debut to uproarious success. They represent the high demand for thought-provoking and intense stories in the city. So choose your favourite and book your London play tickets before they run out!
  • London plays can come in various forms, focusing more on storytelling and acting. Most of them are intense and dramatic productions dealing with various compelling themes like war, politics, love, betrayal, crime, identity and others but there are many comic and feel-good London plays too, with narratives of hope, coming-of-age and other such feel-good topics. If you want to check out a London theatre show but do not want to watch a musical, London plays are your best bet. Get your London play tickets and immerse yourself in these stories.
  • There are new London plays coming to the city every year, whether it be small-budget, experimental plays in the Off West End theatres and other alternative theatre spaces or big-budget performances at the West End. Cruise through our list of carefully curated London plays and you're sure to find something that matches your taste. London play tickets are available for purchase now!
  • When choosing seats for your London plays, make sure that you have a clear view of the stage so that you do not miss out on the dialogues or expressions. Centre Stalls seats put you right at the vantage point of the action so they are your best bet when buying London play tickets. But these seats are the most premium in the house and may get quite expensive. For something more affordable, get side Stalls seats or even the seats in the middle rows of the elevated sections. The rake will enable you to clearly view the stage from a top-down angle.
  • London has a whole list of plays that are being presented in different theatres this year. Catch an old-gold London play or opt for something new and experimental - the world is your oyster! Want to go see some classic plays? Check out our Shakespeare collection. Looking for London plays which are critically acclaimed? Look no further than our list of Critics' Choice shows. Book the London play tickets that catch your attention the most.
  • Photography and filming are not allowed during any of the London plays.

It was an complete package: the actors perworfance was briliant, the stage was amazing, the special efects were impresive. After this show I have an diferent opinion regarding theatre in general. Very good job!

The characters had invented their own 'actor personalities' which was like playing two characters a piece. The frustration aspect kind of easy to relate to as we all get that in life.

Everything was great, the performance, the music and last but not least the actors! The madness! I'll just say one thing, we are now also "partners in crime" and "whodunnit!"

Excellent show. Last minute booking was smooth no problems at all. Thrilling theater with excellent actors. If English is not your first language you should be fluent in it to enjoy it.

Production was great but too many people in the audience coughing was a distraction. Avoid weekday matinees, we missed the warning about schoool children attending, unsure if this was cause of multiple coughers. Wine was good!

Show itself was amazing- the seat I was given, however, didn't actually exist. I was told to go to B12- B, which is a box, only has ten seats. There was no B-12, and I ended up standing in the back of the box for the duration of the show.

My 4 year old really loved it and it was so lovely to get back to theatres. My 20 month old also came with us and he did enjoy it but think he was maybe a little too young to enjoy it for 55 mins. They did recommend 3+ so I did expect it. The staff were super helpful and let us move to another seat when the one I booked wasn't ideal for us.
