It was a wonderful show, with the exception of Catherine Tate, who decided to take the afternoon off. Her understudy was phenomenal! Kudos to this wonderful production that I've now seen on broadway and on the west end. 🤩

I loved the scene and the actors and actress, I came from my country to London especially for Catherine Tate, as I am her biggest fan. I loved her performance, she never disappoints. Also, my mother loved her performance, such a great actress. I loved the music, the scenes, the colors, the lights, everything was on point. Congrats to all of them, such a great work!

I saw the New York production with Escola and think the ensemble here worked better, was more polished and able to convey the spirit of the piece with aplomb. Tate, while different, of course, was brilliant where she succeeded in mastering the dance between comic timing and inflection, the broad and the subtle. Bravo to all!

The audience was lively. The drink was refreshing. The performance hilarious. The theater beautiful. The only suggestion would be to organize the drink set up differently. Very long waits, bar tenders seemed to be stumbling over each other to fill orders. But it was wonderful overall.

The room was buzzing before the show even started. When it did, we were immediately capitavated and enthralled. The actors' were all amazing and Catherine Tate is just physical comedy genius.
    • A bold, twisted comedy that reimagines Mary Todd Lincoln as a cabaret-obsessed, self-destructive diva in the days before her husband Abraham Lincoln's assassination.

    • The original Broadway smash won Tonys for Best Actor (Cole Escola) and Best Direction (Sam Pinkleton), and broke box-office records.

    • Starring Mason Alexander Park as Mary, with acclaimed direction by Sam Pinkleton, this irreverent revival promises a fresh, haunting edge.

    • Themes of loss, yearning, addiction, and identity collide in razor-sharp satire, expect campy staging, sharp wit, and theatrical jolts. Book your Oh, Mary! London tickets now!

    The story

In the bleak days before April 1865, Mary Todd Lincoln, bereft, ignored, haunted by defeat, is unraveling. Trapped in a marriage with a closeted president, she oscillates between sipping spirits and plotting cabaret stardom as her inner pain and resentment bubble over. Through the lens of absurdity and scathing humor, Oh, Mary! reveals a woman scorned and forgotten, until she claws back her story. What lengths will she go to reclaim her voice?

I had seats in the upper circle and because of the theater's layout, it felt like I was right on top of the action. Great views and the performances were stunning. This was a top to bottom wonderful production and I will treasure it! It's also centrally located so grabbing a bite to eat and the tube home afterward was a piece of cake. Would love to go back!

Catherine Tate gave a hilarious performance. Laughed heartily. Thoroughly silly and just a bit rude for some but not for me.

Catherine Tate's face needs its own Tony Award - her expression are just absolutely mind boggling.
