An amazing experience. Rich in history and content from the get-go. The ruins are so well preserved and access is very open allowing such a great insight into life back in Pompeii 2000 years ago. At times you can almost imagine youself walking through the town in its prime. I recommend giving at least 2 hours to walk around the ruins, and at least 4 for those who enjoy learning about hsptry and taking in the detail. Parking was easy, plenty of food / service areas and despite the large crowd, we rarely felt held up by the amount of people, due to the amount of content and size of the town. I will return.

We initially booked the tickets without a guide but upon arrival were offered to pay a bit extra to go on a guided tour which ended up making the experience significantly more enjoyable. We didn't realise how big Pompeii actually was and we would not have seen as many interesting things or learned anywhere near as much if not for our guide Igor. Igor was phenomenal, he was very knowledgeable and clearly loved what he does and beyond friendly. If not for him we would have spent a lot more time seeing a lot less of Pompeii.

good experience, apart from having to go from one end of the entrances to the other to get the vouchers to be exchanged at the main door. It would be simpler if the voucher could be tele-changed to avoid these inconvenient journeys.

Easy to book, obtaining our tickets was really easy. We obtained a guide book and map, giving us lots of information. We visited in September 25, there was less people as we arrived in the afternoon. Could easily see all the ruins.
