Back in Pompeii after 42 years. A lot has changed. The ruins have been restored and continue to be restored. On that very hot summer day, we were able to relax at the rooftop restaurant.

We really enjoyed our single day in the chaotic, fascinating city of Naples. The undisputed highlight was the National Archaeological Museum, which houses stunning artifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum alongside ancient Egyptian antiquities like mummies. As for the hop-on, hop-off tour, we didn't give ourselves enough time—you need at least two hours just to complete the loop without getting off.

Our visit to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples was particularly interesting and informative. We had the opportunity to learn more about Naples’ rich history, art, and culture, and to admire numerous artifacts of great value. We especially appreciated that the visit allowed us to learn something new in an enjoyable and engaging way, giving us a better understanding of the historical and cultural significance of this city. It was a truly captivating and enriching experience that made our stay in Naples even more special.

Both tours are interesting, and there is parking available at the main starting and finishing points near the castle. The commentary is helpful but can sometimes be hard to understand.

Everything went well; our host was very capable and friendly—someone who really knows her stuff. She explained everything clearly and highlighted the key points. The group was satisfied.

Excellent and well-organized service. The ticket inspector was very kind and answered all my questions efficiently. I was able to get to the airport without any problems and in time for my flight in about 10 minutes from Naples Central Station. Highly recommended!
