No queuing, let in an hour earlier no questions asked, as I made a mistake on booking. Audio easy to use. Incredible place, not too busy. Enjoyed lunch in the pomegranate garden. Blew us away on how preserved remains were. Couldn't see the thermal baths due to maintenance but they pre warn you not everything will be open. As we found several houses weren't allowed in. But all in all superb historical site, a must visit 👌

Very interesting with the paper guide to find out what's going on in each location. Too bad the terms were otherwise closed

Super easy- buying a ticket in advance was better than queueing to get in. You go straight to the kiosk and show your email ticket to get a ticket to enter straight away.

Went straight in. Glad I booked audio guide too. Wasn't actually that crowded in the afternoon but it meant we weren't worried about tickets and queues.

The visits to Ercolano and Pompei are spectacular, but whoever says that you can do both visits in the same day, does not know how to enjoy all its charm. Ercolano in one day and Pompei in another, separately, to enjoy everything and not get tired.
