From the magical world of Harry Potter comes a hilarious tale about one of the more forgotten houses at Hogwarts. Described as ‘a tale of anyone who has never been destined to save the world’, this Off-Broadway delight puts the spotlight squarely on the sweet and simple folks at Hufflepuff, finally giving them a chance to shine! With rave reviews from both audience and critics, this is one Harry Potter themed play you just can’t miss!
Why Watch Puffs
Why Watch Puffs
Created by Matt Cox, Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, is a Harry Potter spinoff you never knew you needed. This Off-Broadway sensation began at the Peoples Improv Theatre before moving to its current home at New World Stages, and has quickly become one of the most popular Off-Broadway productions of its time. With something for both Potter fans and casual theatregoers, the show has enchanted audiences from the very beginning!
The Story
Puffs allows you the rare opportunity of watching one of most famous magical journeys in the world but from the sidelines, like a true Hufflepuff. Join along as the show follows the life of Wayne Hopkins, a young boy from New Mexico who shares none of the qualities that made the Boy Who Lived famous. Watch what happens when he finds out his wizarding identity. Along for the ride are the Puffs – a group of well-meaning and loyal outcasts with a strange fascination for badgers. This laugh-out-loud comedy is packed to the brim with innumerable references to its source material (both books and films) but also boasts a heart of its own!
