Why Watch Love actually? A musical parody

The 2003 British film was a crowd favorite and continues to be one of the most popular Christmas films to date. The film as praised the charming tales of the various couples, and for incorporating comedy wonderfully amidst the romance. It went on to win a BAFTA award and was nominated for several Golden Globe and BAFTA awards. Brothers Bob and Tobly Smith bring a musical parody of the film to stage, hoping to appeal to audiences as they did with musical parodies of Friends and The Office. They tackle the idea of love during the holiday season and do a stellar job in bringing out the comedy. Be prepared for an evening of unrelenting comedy and fun, as you catch the parody at Broadway!

The Story

Follow the story of nine quirky couples, as they attempt to find love. When you are Prime Minister, is it love to fall for your secretary? Or is it perhaps love to fall for your secretary when you have Emma Thompson as your wife? Is it love when you fall in love with the maid after your wife has cheated on you? What about when you show up with poster boards professing love for your best friend’s wife?
