We received validation of our tickets only a few hours before the experience, despite several reminders. The only reply was: "You'll have them in 30 minutes". The 30 minutes took over 12 hours. Then only one ticket out of the 2 purchased was scheduled. Once again, Headout was not at all up to scratch. Fortunately, the airline contacted us and blocked us an extra seat despite Headout's failure to book. Once again, support told us that the problem would be resolved within 30 minutes, but in the end they didn't solve it. What a shame for tickets costing over 800 USD! We'll never use Headout again.

What to bring

Dress in comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for boarding and walking around the heliport.

Light jackets are recommended, as the cabin may feel cooler once airborne.

Sunglasses help reduce glare and make it easier to enjoy the skyline views.

Cameras and phones are welcome for capturing the incredible cityscape, just keep them secure during the flight.

What’s not allowed

For safety reasons, loose items such as hats, scarves, umbrellas, or large accessories cannot be brought on board.

Bags, backpacks, and purses must be stored in lockers before boarding.

Food, drinks, and chewing gum are not allowed during the flight.

Smoking, vaping, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited on-site.

Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted; only certified service animals are allowed with prior notice.

Accessibility

The Downtown Manhattan Heliport and waiting areas are wheelchair accessible, and staff are available to assist with boarding.

Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated, but motorized scooters require advance coordination.

Passengers must be able to fasten a seatbelt and follow all crew safety instructions.

Guests near or above the weight limit (275 lbs / 125 kg) should contact HeliNY ahead of time for suitable arrangements.
