Arrive early to explore the exhibits at your own pace. Present your ticket at the entrance for check-in assistance. Before starting your journey, you can stop by the on-site café for snacks and refreshments.

- Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, controlled substances, outside food, and smoking are not allowed inside the venue.
- The use of cameras, video cameras and mobile phones is prohibited in designated special exhibitions.

- Wheelchairs are available free of charge from the foyer at Melbourne Museum for your visit.
- Ramps and elevators are available at the venue for easy access.
- Accessible parking spaces and lifts with tactile indicators are available at various locations throughout the Museum, including Rathdowne Street Car Park, Nicholson Street Car Park, between the Museum Shop and Café, at the Triceratops: Fate of the Dinosaurs exhibition, and at the IMAX Theatre.
