Curse of the Pharaoh Escape Room at Escape Hunt, Galleria Mall

A 60-minute race through a 1922 Egyptian tomb, where your team of 2 to 4 players must return a stolen amulet and break a mummy's curse.

Arrive at Escape Hunt Dubai in Galleria Mall, Jumeirah, at least 15 minutes before your start time. Show your voucher at check-in, then join your host for a pre-game briefing that sets up your mission in the Valley of the Kings. When your team is ready, your host leads you to the tomb, the door closes behind you, and the 60-minute countdown begins.

The mission

Egypt, 1922: archaeologists have opened a forbidden tomb in the Valley of the Kings and carried off a sacred amulet. Its theft has woken a mummy that now stalks the land, and your team has been called in to return what was taken before the curse spreads any further.

• Lead your adventurers into the heart of the pharaoh's lair and follow the trail left by the archaeologists who broke in.

• Recover the sacred amulet, said to hold the power of the old gods, and work out where it must be returned.

• Put the amulet back in its rightful place before the clock runs out to break the curse.

Inside the tomb

The room is built as an ancient burial chamber, dressed with Egyptian props, carved symbols and locked compartments. Puzzles follow the story, so each answer you find opens the next stage of the mission and moves you deeper into the tomb.

• Read the Egyptian symbols carved around the chamber and match them to the clues you uncover.

• Work hidden mechanisms and open coded locks to reach sealed parts of the tomb.

• Solve riddles tied to the pharaoh and the amulet as the countdown ticks toward zero.

• Search the props around the chamber closely, as items you find often become the key to a later puzzle.

Choosing your team size

This game is available for teams of 2, 3 or 4 players, with one booking covering the whole team. Each size changes how you tackle the tomb.

• Team of 2: Share every search, code, and lock between you, with nobody sitting a stage out.

• Team of 3: One player searches, one decodes, and one tests answers, rotating as new puzzles open up.

• Team of 4: Split into two pairs to work separate puzzles, then regroup when a stage needs everyone.

• Team of 5: Two pairs solve together while one player tests.

Once the clock stops, your host runs a post-game debrief with your team. Walk back through the tomb's puzzles, find out which clues you missed, and hear how the final mechanisms were meant to be solved. It is also your moment to talk through the game as a team, from the opening briefing to the final stage, before you head out.
