Getting started

Your licensed driver-guide with at least 5 years of experience collects you from your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah, or Ajman in a 2022 or newer shared Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol. The shared 4WD with hotel pickup and drop-off for the "Shared 4WD with Hotel Pickup and Premium Sofa Camp Seating" option takes you out of the city toward the Lahbab red dunes for your desert experience.

Dune bashing and arrival activities

What to expect

The safari begins at the Lahbab red dunes, where your driver deflates the tires and heads into the red sand dunes for a dune bashing session. After tackling the dune slopes, you have time for sandboarding and a sunset photo stop before continuing toward the desert camp.

• Dune bashing, sandboarding, and a sunset photo stop at the Lahbab red dunes let you ride over the sand in the shared 2022 or newer Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol with a maximum of 6 guests per car, as per the option selected.
• A camel ride is available at the desert site, so you can experience the desert from a traditional perspective before settling into the evening.

Desert camp, dinner and shows

What to expect

After the dune activities, you arrive at the desert camp where the evening slows down around food, refreshments, and live entertainment. You settle into the premium camp with sofa seating to relax, eat, and watch the stage performances.

• Premium camp with sofa seating, available with the "Shared 4WD with Hotel Pickup and Premium Sofa Camp Seating" option, gives you more comfort compared to a standard camp setup.
• A BBQ buffet dinner of about 40 to 50 dishes with vegetarian and Jain options is served, along with unlimited water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee throughout the evening.
• Live shows, including tanoura, a fire show, and belly dance, take place on the central stage while you enjoy your meal and drinks.
• Henna for ladies is offered at the camp so guests who wish can add a traditional design before the night winds down.

Wrapping up

Once the camp activities end, your driver-guide walks you back to your shared 4WD. The return transfer takes you from the desert camp directly to your hotel, completing your hotel pickup and drop-off service for the evening.
