We visited the Burj Khalifa observation deck in January 2026. I bought tickets through Headout. The website is well-designed and easy to use. There is an interesting selection of tours. After each ticket purchase, I received an additional discount on my next purchase. This is appealing. The visit to Burj Khalifa itself was wonderful. The staff are very helpful to visitors and keep the queues organized. Be prepared for queues, as they are unavoidable. There are many people who want to go up to the 124th and 125th floors. The views from the top are beautiful. It is immediately apparent that the city is growing rapidly, and what I saw now will be a completely different picture in a couple of years. Therefore, it cannot be said that once you have been there, this attraction will become irrelevant on your next visits to Dubai. It will always be interesting and beautiful here!

We reached at Ain Dubai Entrance before 10 minutes and entry was smooth, was not too crowded. After some checks we entered at boarding point where entry to cabin was very comfortable and guided by their representative. We enjoyed rides very much, there were spectaculous views, we watched complete view of palm Jumeirah, JBR beach, Burj Al Arab and even skyline of Dubai was fabulous. This is must ride and should not be missed in Dubai Trip. My family enjoyed the wheel which is biggest in world and even walk around the area was feel good factor. It didn’t feel very special to me. At the end of the day, you’re inside a very tall building looking at the city from above. I booked the sunrise slot for Floors 124 and 125, but it didn’t feel any different or extraordinary. Overall, it felt like a waste of money. They do provide a complimentary drink (coffee, tea, or a carbonated soft drink) along with a donut. The coffee and donut were actually very good. The entry is through Dubai Mall. The sunrise slot starts at 5:00 AM, but the actual sunrise was closer to 7:00 AM. At 5:00 AM, the crowd is very low, so you can enjoy a nice view of the city lights at night. As the day begins, the crowd increases significantly. If you’re going for sunrise, you need to go early and secure a good spot. Otherwise, it becomes very crowded, and you may not even get a clear view through the glass — especially at the popular viewpoints. Avoid the extreme north and south ends; the middle section offers a better sunrise view. You can also watch from the stairs leading to Floor 125. In my opinion, the view from Floor 124 is better than Floor 125.

We had a terrible experience getting to the top of Burj Khalifa. Our time was 5:30 on the ticket and we reached 15mins early but there was a very long queue to even get to the desk, then another big queue from there to get to the lifts . It took us almost 3 hours to get to floor 124 and 125. Then there was a big queue to get to the lifts to get back down, which again took an hour. We were literally tired and thirsty standing in the queue. There was no one to help . Due to the delay all our booked evening plans got cancelled as well. Really poor experience .

The Burj is a must-see on every tourist's Dubai itinerary. This may lead to some delays during peak hours and very busy days.

Expect a considerable wait time as you stand in the ticketing queue as well as the elevator queue.

You can enter only at the time slot you choose during checkout. Once inside, you can stay for as long as you like. Typically, tourists spend an average of 40 minutes at the observatory.

The sunset hours between 6:30pm and 7pm are the best time to visit the top floors of the Burj. At dusk, the vivid orange skies offer mesmerizing vistas from the vantage point.

Children under 4 can enter the Burj Khalifa for free. However, they must have a ticket and be accompanied by an adult.
