Perched above Midtown Manhattan, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is more than just an observation deck. It's an immersive journey through art, architecture, and the city's luminous skyline. While it's great to visit at any hour, nighttime, I must say has a distinct charm.
Hours & atmosphere
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is open daily from 9am to 12am, with the last entry at 10:30pm. It’s closed on Tuesdays, so plan accordingly.
As night falls, the city below hums with life. From this height, you can hear the distant sounds of traffic, the occasional horn, and a low industrial buzz. From the SUMMIT, these sounds are softened, offering a tranquil contrast to the city's daytime hustle. The view stretches endlessly, with twinkling lights dotting the landscape and the iconic Empire State Building standing right in front of you.
