A very moving experience. I'm a retired firefighter and watched the events that day on tv as they unfolded. The monument and museum are very well done and worth every dollar and hour to visit. It's amazing to me how this Memorial rose out of all that death and destruction. Not to take anything away from all the civilian victims, Ladder 3, Captain Brown's helmet and the photos of those first responders who never made it home were especially meaningful to me. God bless all who serve, their families, friends and co-workers. Thank you. We must never forget. Never.
