Undoubtedly, the best way to explore the otherworldly beauty of the Amalfi Coast is with the Path of the Gods hiking tour. Nearly 4 miles long, the famous clifftop trail offers breathtaking views of the endless coastline and serene blue waters of the Mediterranean sea. During this 4 hours-long adventure, you will encounter rocky passages, ancient mule routes, terraced vineyards, traditional farmhouses, and renowned monasteries.
The penultimate stop on the trail is the quiet hamlet of Nocelle, following which you have to endeavour to climb the 1700 steep steps that will lead you down to Positano. Although it is a daunting climb, what makes it worthwhile are the magnificent panoramas that greet you along the way. Your final destination is Positano. Take some time to hit the beach and walk along its quaint cobbled streets. Enjoy a scoop of gelato, catch a whiff of scented bougainvillaeas, admire the citrus groves, and dig into some fresh seafood.
