Walking Tours in Naples

I went there on a school trip when I was a kid, and this time I decided to take my Ukrainian girlfriend there for her birthday. It was a wonderful experience, surrounded by antiquity and history, with charming houses that make you wish you could live in the past. Our guide, Eduardo, was very friendly and explained everything in detail without leaving anything out. We had a great time; my girlfriend was so captivated that one day she’ll bring her family too and maybe even go on the Vesuvius excursion, which is fabulous.

Very well done! My wife and I booked this tour as part of our 50th Anniversary trip through Italy. For this event we took the train from Sorrento to Pompeii (easy and inexpensive) and we all met together at the Tour office, which is on the 2nd floor of the train station where you arrive in Pompeii - so easy. Next, we met the tour guide and received our instructions and listening devices and walked a short distance to the entry gate. We went right through a dedicated gate (truly jumped the line) and into the site. Our guide took us on a very interesting and fact filled trek through Pompeii that ultimately finished with the most fascinating sights and restorations you could imagine. Pompeii is huge and attempting to self guide would undoubtedly be an impossible task... There's just too much to see and much is repetitive if you walk around trying to figure it out yourself! Using the Headout App and Landmarks Tours was a truly simple and enjoyable experience for me an my wife.

It's always rewarding to hike to your destination, it feels like you have earned the breathtaking view and your own slice of history.

The Royal Palace of Caserta amazes everyone who sees it—from the outside, in photos, from the inside... and imagine how much more so if you spend two hours exploring it, accompanied by a young guide who explains everything around you in detail, in perfect Italian and with great skill. An absolutely wonderful experience. Well done!

Our guide María's explanations were excellent and very detailed. You get a much better experience of Pompeii when you visit with a guide.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable, but unfortunately the tour started 20 minutes late and had 24 people instead of the maximum of 20 indicated in the reservation. In any case, it was a positive experience—one worth repeating!

Great tour. Everything was seamless moving around and we had a good amount of time at Vesuvius and Pompei. Only negative (and a word of warning for cruisers), we got back an hour later than scheduled. A few more minutes and we'd have missed our ship. Otherwise highly recommended.
