If I could leave more stars I would...we had a gentleman guide called Alex..exceptional..I will explain why..firstly a true historian extremely knowledgeable and professional...secondly a very nice person..if/when you come to Rome use this guide whenever possible....I have been all over the world and this was up there with the best....thank you so much Alex for sharing your knowledge and time. The Vatican tour is a must. Sabrina was a very knowledgeable guide. Unfortunately the time requirement seemed to rush the museum portion of the tour so a return trip will be required.

I liked the tour a lot. It was crazy hot the day we went so I was glad we went early. The dome climb was cool but intense. They need benches when you get down! 😅 Our guide was very informative. We moved slow and went about an hour longer than anticipated but it was very crowded.

Will have to go back to the hotel for a nap afterwards. Our guide Marco was great you could definitely tell he knew his stuff. There was so much to take in 4 hours seem to fly by but is impossible to see everything you need a full day for this one for sure.

It was really nice to be able to look around and walk through St. Peter’s Basilica so early in the morning without there being too many other tourists. The visit to the tower was also peaceful. Raffa gave us a very thorough explanation of the church and everything there was to see both inside and out. Her explanation of the Sistine Chapel was also very vivid. Unfortunately, the tour of the Vatican Museums wasn’t as enjoyable. Our guide was hard to understand, and because of the crowds, we also had a hard time following her.
