We had the all-inclusive package and an early start (8:00 a.m.). Don’t plan anything else for this day!! We climbed all the way to the top of the basilica, where the view was fantastic. It was more than 500 steps up and very narrow, but ultimately more than worth it. Our guide was brimming with knowledge and made the day really fun and interactive. The Vatican, with all its unique features and quirks, was explained and explored. The catacombs where the popes are buried, the Vatican Museum, and the Sistine Chapel were explained expertly, informatively, and with just the right touch of humor. A day like this leaves such a lasting impression that it takes time to process it all.

Wow! What a day. We started our tour at 8:00 with St Peter's Basilica. This was amazing with a long walk up to the top of the cupola. After a quick lunch and short break, we went at it again with the museum and Sistine Chapel. 6 hours of standing and walking. We are in shape ;my son just ran a marathon) but we got back and napped. The museum had so so much to see. Amazing to see in person all that was there. I liked having Nadya show us the favorites and go into detail with certain aspects. Had I been on my own, it would have been overwhelming.

Yesterday
Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St Peters have been the most beautiful tour I have took in Rome. I really enjoyed all the history and impresive scultures as the Pietra from Mischelangelo, and famous paints from Da Vinci and Rafaello. Definitely will recomend it.

I enjoyed the guide and the tour. However I felt misled , was led to believe we would be on an early morning tour when it would be quiet and alone on a small tour. Which after seeing it will never happen for anyone since the gates open at 8 and there are hundreds of people there. It's not quiet and personal a small group yes.

Our guide, Nadya, was really interesting and very kind, but there was way too much waiting to go up to the dome of the basilica, and I don't think that's right given the ticket price (€180 per person). Too bad.
