We had an amazing experience visiting the Vatican, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Francesco. He was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the history, art, and stories to life in a way that kept everyone engaged. Despite the enormous crowds and the extreme heat, he navigated our group of 20 people effortlessly, making sure no one was left behind and that everyone was as comfortable as possible throughout the tour. What we appreciated even more was how thoughtful he was with our two kids. He made an effort to include them, keep things fun, and help them enjoy the experience as much as the adults. Francesco was professional, organized, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the Vatican. This tour company was amazing to work with. They communicated early and kept us updated. It was so nice to skip the long lines all the way through security and on to our guide. Our tour coordinator kept us aprised of the process through every step and insured that no one got left behind in the crowds. It was so worth the little bit extra to be able to have a seamless experience. My only suggestion is to get the guided tour through to the Basillica. You'll save yourself a long walk back around the Vatican.
