Paula was extraordinary. Very friendly and interested in getting to know the history. The sites are amazing. I would definitely recommend the Roman Forum as it is a walk through the history of Rome. The only thing I didn't like is that there was no time to walk through it completely because at a certain time we had to get to the Colosseum. There was also no time to take pictures until the end of the tour at the Colosseum, so if you wanted to take pictures before you were left behind the group.

The visit was very good, although I feel that some of the information given did not coincide with the information given in other tours, which made me have to look for the historical review in the books. In some things the Guide of you was right, and in others a bit distant from what was described in the literature. Another thing that made me noise was the way of saying the word PANTEON, which in Spanish is accented on the O, while in English is accented on the A. The guide, in Spanish, put the accent on the a, and always spoke of PÁNTHEON. The rest was very good. She gave us some tips of Rome that we went to and they were the best. She, very nice and pleasant. Open to many questions.

Tour was too long (2.5h) for the summer season and people over 40s. It started with Forum, than Platinum and at the end was Coleseoum, so by the time we reached Coliseum, most were very exhausted. The tour shoud be very good for the winter season and for young people. But having in mind 40 degree temperature and the aged people, we spent too much time at the Forum and Platinum and by the time we reached the Coliseum, we were so exhsusted that half of the group just left without seeing the msjor part. The speaking part should be redused and things should be seen more quickly so kids and sged people ti be able to handle it.

Lidia was our guide in French, and her way of explaining things and her culture around the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Mount Palatine, made our visit all the more enjoyable! It was a real moment of exchange, pleasure and learning!

First time in Roma. Much to assimilate with and process. Unsure of my surroundings. Naomi did a good job of easing us into the location, the history, the stories. The pick up point was easy to find, close to the venue and "staked" out as described in the messages received in correspondence. We decided to take the hop on hop off bus tour the day after which added context to the day . A photograph included in your material of the meeting place (silimilar to this) might help some travellers who had not had time to stake out the park/Cafe prior to the tour. Enjoyed the day morning with Naomi ...

A day in the life, gladiator-style

Walk past the crowds smoothly with your guide into the mighty Colosseum, ready to see and learn everything. The depth of its history embedded in the many-tiered structure is as vast as the monument itself. Watch out for goosebumps as you walk through the Gladiator Gate. Enter the Arena, which once hosted epic historical battles, and don't forget to greet the Arch of Constantine.

View the senator seats up close, from where the royalty entertained themselves to bloodthirsty quarrels. Peek down from the edge of the Arena's floor to discover chambers that once contained wild beasts and pathways the gladiators took. Walk through the entire circumference of the Colosseum, and try to picture it when 80,000 screaming Romans occupied it.

The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

Step away from the glory of the Colosseum to the Roman Forum, to discover the center of political and social life in Ancient Rome. Visit a vantage point with equally enriching views and history. Learn about it from your guide and take some time to explore it on your own. Next up, trek to the top of Palatine Hill for unparalleled views of the Forum and Circus Maximus.
