The overall experience is elaborately staged. There are several levels of experience. I found the "Gene Library" and the Wahaba / Oasis the most impressive. Unfortunately, there were crowds of people pushing through the rooms, lots of baby carriages with whining toddlers. The announcements were in Arabic and English, and the sound quality was certainly not fit for the future. And none of the ideas were really futuristic, some of them have been around for many years, seen at an exhibition in the Netherlands 15 years ago. I rate the building itself at 5*. I'll definitely give it a pass as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.

The Museum of the Future is visually spectacular — the architecture alone is stunning and truly futuristic. But once inside, I couldn’t help feeling that the technologies and exhibits are quite outdated for something that promises to showcase the future. As a tech enthusiast, I expected to be wowed with innovation and interactivity, but it felt more like a glimpse of 2025, not 2070. You can spend some quality time there, but honestly, there’s a lot of room for improvement in terms of the actual experience versus the hype.

Amazing Experience with Headout! I used the Headout app during my trip to Dubai to book several attractions, and it was super smooth and convenient! The app is very easy to use, with clear details and instant confirmations. I managed to book tickets for top attractions like the Museum of the Future and Dubai Marina Cruise at great prices. Everything worked perfectly, and I didn’t have to wait in any long queues. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai — it made my travel experience so much easier and enjoyable!

Wow. Just wow! 🤯✨ The Museum of the Future in Dubai completely blew my mind. From the second you see the building, you already know you’re in for something special — it looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi movie. And once you step inside… it only gets better. The whole experience feels super immersive and interactive, like you’re actually traveling into the future. Crazy technology, inspiring ideas, and concepts that really make you stop and think. It’s not just about gadgets , it’s about people, the planet, and what tomorrow could look like. Honestly, I loved how fun and engaging it was. You don’t just walk around and look at things, you feel part of the story. I walked out feeling inspired, curious, and genuinely excited about the future. If you’re in Dubai, this place is an absolute must-see. No doubts, no hesitation. 🚀✨

The truth is that it is not bad but it does not seem as interesting as it could be a museum that is called of the future. Cris that there would be more surprising things, I did not find it very interactive and lacking languages, I think Spanish is important enough to be counted on. Only the room of the species, animal plants and insects seemed interesting to me, the rest was boring and not very surprising. I would not repeat it because there are many better things to do in Dubai if you do not have much time.

The museum of the future was an amazing experience, it so mind blowing and unbelievable what the future holds for us, everything there went so easy and the workers are nice and helpful, everything is clean and organized, simply comfortable. The frame was also amazing, the line was a bit long but at the end it was worth it. I thought the floor will look like it breaks when you walk on it but it didn't. To sum it all everything was wonderful.

A nice experience on every level. Is less crowded before lunch so try to go as early as posible if you don't want to wait at the entrance for a long time ( 40 mins for me). To pick up your entry bracelets if you already purchesed tickets you have to be at the counter (or self pick up machines) between 30 mins before and 30 mins after your entry time that is writen on the ticket.
  • You'll typically find a museum displaying fine art, history, and traditions of various cultures- but the Museum of the Future is no typical museum! It takes you on a voyage, 50 years into the future, with quite a bit to show you!

    MOTF: The Interiors

The Museum of the Future is spread across 7 floors (only 5 are accessible though). Each floor has something specific in store for you. Divided into 5 "chapters", you'll feel like you're back in school as you tackle topics like climate change, ecology, health, wellness, spirituality, imagination, and the future of space travel and living! With the use of immersive theater, interactive exhibits, and themed attractions, this will be a fun museum experience unlike most.

Adjust your eyes to the bright white insides!

As soon as you step in, you'll be in the monumental atrium, bathed in a warm white light. All around you, you'll find large calligraphy panels spread across the building (believed to be connections to the outer world). Throw on your wristbands and begin your journey, that starts at the elevator. You'll find many bubble elevators speeding up and down around you: board one and let your voyage into the unknown begin!

Zoom up to a makeshift space station

Your journey starts on the 5th floor. You’ll then trickle down, one floor at a time, in a cascading fashion, until you’re right where you started- the lobby! On the elevator, you'll have a countdown and real movements (you'll barely notice it). Make sure to look outside and spot your outer-world surroundings before you dock at the Orbital Space Station.

Chapter 1: OSS Hope (Floor 5)

You've officially reached your destination: Orbital Space Station (OSS) Hope. Here, you'll get briefed on your location via a video recording, before entering the station's command center. Make sure you listen to all the interesting missions, discoveries, and inventions undertaken by OSS Hope before moving on. The 3D Walls and the model itself are made from recycled material- you're allowed to touch it!

Chapter 2: Heal Institute (Floor 4)

Reboard your drop pod and voyage back to planet earth (or a floor below), where your journey continues. Enter a marvelous digital Amazon at Heal Institute, a place where you'll notice the theme of climate change stand out. Walk on to "The Vault of Life” which features a DNA library of 2000+ species- stressing on the need to repair damages caused by climate change.

Chapter 3: Al Waha (Floor 3)

Translating to "The Oasis", this chapter encourages you to disconnect from technology of any kind and engage all your senses. There is a need to find a balance between reality and virtuality, and this chapter is all about that. Through the advancement of technology, we must not forget the importance of imagination. Enjoy the many interactive exhibits here.

Chapter 4: Tomorrow Today (Floor 2)

Now that we've taken a short break from technology, it's time to dive back in and see the technological advancements the world has seen since 2022. The overall theme is still very clear: leading our planet to a better future- environmentally, culturally, socially, and politically.

Chapter 5: Future Heroes (Floor 1)

If you’re visiting with children, we have saved the best for last at “Future Heroes”- a place where the planet’s future heroes- our children- have a space to let their imagination run wild. Children aged 10 and below can run around and play while learning how to effectively build and beautifully shape their future.

    Wave at the Robot Barista

You read that right: there is a robot barista at the museum cafe in the lobby. Before heading out, make a pit stop at the cafe and get served a cup of coffee by a robot!
