Experience only the best of Porto

Overall, we really enjoyed the Douro tour, and it’s a beautiful region that’s well worth visiting. The scenery during the boat cruise was absolutely stunning. We did have slightly different expectations, as we thought the boat cruise would be the main part of the experience. It would have been great if the guide had shared commentary during the cruise, as hearing more about the history and surrounding vineyards while on the river would have made it even more memorable. A special mention to our guide, Milena, who was incredibly friendly, charismatic, and kept the atmosphere fun throughout the day. Our driver, Jose, did an excellent job navigating the narrow mountain roads—they made a fantastic team. The port wine tasting was one of the highlights of the trip. The venue was lovely, and the tasting itself was very enjoyable and well presented. The only part that didn’t quite meet our expectations was the lunch. The food was fairly average, and we had expected to dine with views over the vineyards, so the setting was a little disappointing compared with the rest of the experience. Despite those points, we had a wonderful day and would still recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of the Douro Valley. Thank you for a memorable trip!

In, Porto, we were staying in Gaia. Once we figured out that we had to be in the Porto side of the river, we found the red li e bus stop. We stayed on the bus for the entire ride and saw beautiful old and modern neighborhoods. We also drive along the Atlantic Ocean, beautiful. The six bridges cruis was on time, every 30 minutes, informative and smooth. Today we will try the blue line and will hop on it on the Gaia side of the river.

The staff there are very friendly and always willing to provide the right information, and they’re helpful when boarding and disembarking from the boat; it also has a QR code for an audio tour of the boat

Amazing day starting in Amaramte, the vineyards and boat tour. Our guide Piedra was a fun driver, tour guide and entertainer- we all enjoyed him!

An incredible light show within a beautiful church. Maybe take an airplane neck pillow. You need to look up a lot and the pillow would make it more comfortable 😉

A very nice tour guide. Since it was too hot, she made sure we took enough breaks to drink water. She was very attentive.

It was really great. No lines—we arrived and didn't even have to wait two minutes; we went right in, even though there was a long line for other types of tickets. Buying the tickets was very quick; we bought them the same day, just a couple of hours before we went in. Inside, the experience was spectacular—a magical place. Plus, with the admission ticket, each person in my group could take home a book. They have a great gift shop.

A private guide who is passionate about his work and truly knowledgeable. An impressive port cellar full of old and interesting stories. And the tour ends with a delightful port tasting paired with food.
