It was a wonderful tour with beautiful scenery; time flew by as we traveled along the Duero River, and ending the visit with a tour of the winery and a wine tasting was the icing on the cake. An excellent tour with a very informative guide; everyone was very friendly, and the wine was top-notch.

The cruise itself is a beautiful one on the Douro River. When you also factor in the cost and length of time at just under an hour, it is more than worthwhile and I advise anyone looking at doing something like this to book here.

Relaxed river cruise. The app audio guide didn't work well at all so wouldn't advise using it. Please note: the starting point is the last meeting point on the booking, not the first one (River Sightseeing - pink landing dock on Cais da Ribiera) and not the port cellar. The port cellar option was worth it too - would suggest the update to the chocolate which can be done at the front desk.

A pleasant 45-minute walk across the six bridges. Perfect before dinner. The only thing is, since there are several ticket booths, you have to keep asking which one is the right one because the online reservation tickets don't give many clues.

Well, my experience was so-so. The location was fine, but you could put the name of the boat or something like that at the tourist office—right where it shows the location on the map. They didn’t know anything about my tickets or where I was supposed to pick them up. In the end, I went to a ticket window and showed them the tickets on my phone with the QR code, and they had to check to be sure. Anyway, we ended up getting on the boat, which is what matters most, but they sell tickets right there at the pier itself, so there’s no need to go through all that hassle.

Everything as stipulated in the promotional advertising for the trip. Recorded descriptions given in Portuguese and English but I think it was also available by QR download. Note that boarding and disembarking arrangements not at all suitable for people with reduced mobility. Choice of sitting outside or in cabin area with refreshments facilities.
