Our guide, Gabi, was very warm, welcoming and knowledgeble. She was a delight to listen to (excellent English) as we made our way through the Reina Sofia. She paced the tour perfectly, giving us a nice amount of time to learn about Guernica at the end.

Accessibility

The museum is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and elevators available throughout the building.

You can also loan wheelchairs at the information points at the museum's Sabatini and Nouvel Buildings.

You're free to bring a service animal along, provided you carry all relevant official documentation for verification.

The museum has adapted restrooms across both buildings.

You'll also find accessible parking for adapted vehicles in the museum's loading bay.

Individuals with more than 33% disability enjoy free access to the museum for themselves and one person accompanying them. They must carry an official card or documentation to avail of this benefit.

The museum remains closed on Tuesdays.
