This was not my first time visiting Pompeii, but this time was truly a special experience, mostly thanks to our guide, Grazia Donofrio. Incredibly knowledgeable, brilliant, and blessed with great wit, Grazia brought the daily life of ancient Pompeii to life, sharing fascinating tidbits, anecdotes, and details that made the history feel vibrant and genuinely captivating. Her ability to blend culture, lightness, and warmth—engaging the entire group with witty questions and insightful observations—kept the tour fascinating and never boring. What I appreciated most, though, was how she made me see Pompeii through completely fresh eyes. After my previous visits, I thought I had already discovered and understood most of this extraordinary site. Instead, Grazia showed me just how many stories, details, and glimpses of ancient life are still waiting to be uncovered. I left Pompeii with a huge urge to return. That, to me, is the highest compliment you can pay a guide: not merely recounting history, but sparking curiosity and leaving you eager to learn even more. Thank you Grazia, you were truly amazing! We really enjoyed the entire tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared Latin words connecting the things we saw. The guide, Antonio, was a native of Pompei and he was clearly passionate about what he shared. He took us to areas that had less people observing where the other tours were going. He showed us parts of everyday life reiterating what we saw as if we were all Pompeians! He was humorous and kept everyone engaged including children. He went a little longer because he wanted to show us what was currently being excavated. We had a fun and interesting afternoon. Antonio is excellent! The organizing of the tour group by the Askos representatives was well organized and friendly. We have done numerous tours now with Headout with great success and highly recommend them. Thank you!

We had an amazing tour of Pompeii with Antonio, our archaeologist, who was absolutely brilliant! He shared a wealth of fascinating information about daily life in ancient Pompeii, the city’s excavations, and the historical context in which the city developed and ultimately met its fate. What made the tour truly special was his ability to bring history to life, explain the significance of what we were seeing, and answer all our questions with great knowledge and enthusiasm. Although the area to find the guide was congested and chaotic, it was worth it. Our group of seven people has an amazing time. The archeologist Gabriel was our guide and did a phenomenal job. I could not have asked for a more informed and personable guide, just amazing. He was full of knowledge and answered every question we asked. But he didn't answer it quickly and took the time to be genuine and have personable conversation after the tour had ended. Pompeii is what it is, a piece of history that you should be so blessed to have the opportunity to visit. Loved it

The Spanish tour lasted exactly two hours from when the guide gathered our group at the gate of Pompeii until she dropped us off at the exit. It was truly pleasant to be guided through this city by Antonella. We got a great overview of how the city was structured, how people lived there, who lived there, and what shaped the daily lives of its residents. We also saw some of the most beautiful houses decorated with frescoes. The thermal baths were especially impressive too, with their stucco decorations and heating system. The guide also gave us valuable tips for continuing our visit on our own.
