Michele was brilliant - really good delivery, constant flow of information. He engaged with questions, about the building materials and design for instance. It was so great that he did NOT waste time finding out or using our names, he did NOT endlessly apologise or make jokes at himself. But he was respectful, efficient - worked around other groups. I learnt so much about Pompei as a trading and business centre, the different lives and deaths of rich and poor.

The tour was amazing. Well organized from meeting point all the way through to the end. Our guide Grace was absolute amazing. The information and knowledge of the different sites was amazing. The explanations and stories of each site was fascinating. We really enjoyed our tour and we would highly recommend it. This is the best way to see the main sites in Pompei with a great tour guide. We spent the most enjoyable few hours exploring Pompeii with our guide Teresa from Askos Tours, she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and as an archaeologist shared her vast and in depth knowledge of the ruins. We chose the tour that included the Villa de Misteria and it was well worth it !! I would highly recommend booking this tour as we would have found it quite challenging navigating Pompeii on our own. ☆☆☆☆☆

It was beautiful! Bernadete "Berny" our guide was a delight! She made the tour fun and kept it light giving us all the information about Pompeii without pumping us full of useless info that wouldn't stick... Lia led my small group tour. She was absolutely lovely - enthusiastic, amusing and knowledgeable and her English was great - but the pace was too slow for me. It was 25 minutes after the start time before we even entered the site after she had gathered everyone. The instructions were clear, arrive 15 minutes early to start promptly. We then finished 10 minutes early as others were too hot, so I went off exploring on my own. If people are needing to stop surely that shouldn't shorten the experience for everyone? It's expensive if you only get 70% of the time booked.

Everything was perfect! Archaeologist Camillo Sorrentino was captivating and revealed fascinating facts we never would have imagined finding from two thousand years ago Raised crosswalks, heating in the walls and floors, the first “street food” in history! It was all incredible. Not to mention the colony of cats that were everywhere around the corner—masters of a world that only they could bring back to life. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
