Pompéi guided tour was excellent and the walk to mount Vesuvio very enjoyable, our guide Antonio & driver Paolo were also helpful and friendly, the only downside was no public toilets at mount Vesuvio.

La visita a Pompeya fue muy interesante y la duración fue buena. La guía que nos acompañó en esta visita nos narró muy bien toda la historia de la ciudad y muchas de las anecdotas de Pompeya. Luego fuimos al Vesubio donde cada uno por su cuenta subió hasta el crater del volcán. Nos dieron hora y media. El tour en general estuvo bien, pero nos pareció que el precio estuvo por encima de lo ofrecido.

It was nice having someone pick us up in downtown and drive us everywhere for the journey. The included pizza for lunch was nice too.

De gids in Pompeï stond veel te lang stil om te vertellen, geen vrijheid daar vond ik jammer. 10 minuten over cement vond ik te veel van het goede en stilstaan terwijl tijdens het lopen dan niks verteld werd. Ook maar een paar highlights goed kunnen zien. Alle groepen tegelijkertijd bij dezelfde plekken ook onhandig. Ik had liever meer zelf rond gelopen daar. De berg op was dan weer erg leuk. Ik vind het restaurant wel te overdreven aan geprezen, was gewoon stamp werk en ook weinig tijd daar, niet zo relaxt, beter is de toch standaard een uur langer en heb je gewoon iets meer tijd overal. Vond het eigenlijk prijs kwaliteit scheef. Ook kregen wij de verkeerde pick-up locatie in de mail waardoor wij onnodig vroeg op zijn gestaan, onnodig kosten hebben gemaakt om op die locatie te komen om vervolgens toch weer terug te moeten naar een andere locatie.
