CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The Palácio da Pena and Quinta Regaleira are very beautiful. The Palácio da Pena is way too crowded, and I didn’t expect that visiting the inside of the palace (4 or 5 rooms) would mean spending the whoooole time in line—from the moment you enter until you leave— but it’s still worth visiting since the palace ticket gives you access to the terraces (which, of course, are still very crowded). I liked Quinta Regaleira better—it’s quieter and more spacious. You can explore the interior rooms at a more leisurely pace without waiting in line. At the Initiation Well, the attendant was rushing people along to keep the line moving and not let them stop to take pictures inside, which I didn’t like, because obviously people want to take photos, but you can still manage to get some shots. I liked Quinta Regaleira better than Palácio da Pena—both are very beautiful.EEric D
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5It was simply a fantastic day—we loved this tour! Here’s a valuable tip to make the most of your day: be sure to visit the Pena Palace in the morning (the best time to avoid the crowds and the heat). Save the Quinta da Regaleira for the afternoon, and start your tour right away with the must-see Initiation Well (the “hole”) as soon as you arrive to avoid the line. A perfect combination of magnificent scenery and smooth logistics with these tickets!KKirsten R
CoupleVerified bookingYesterday4/5We loved the trip to Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira - unfortunately did not have time for the Park at Pena, Think you need to make a better guidance to arrive at Pena (where to park/ or much better to go by bus, How far to walk from Parking to Pena, take tuqtuq etc and how far to walk from Pena to Regaleira Recommend to see both places but be sure to go by busTTomás-josé C
CoupleVerified bookingLast week5/5History, beautiful views, and nature. It was a truly complete experience. A landscaped area reached via a winding, steep road that cuts through a dense forest leads us to the Palácio da Pena, a historical and architectural gem. Quinta da Regaleira features spectacular, fantastical gardens that are well worth a visit.JJennifer R
CoupleVerified booking3 days ago4/5Both great must see spots in Sintra!! But.....do not waste your money on the audio guides. They barely worked and they are horrible anyway. You should be able to select based on where you are at the park. Save the extra $$$ Likely will not use this app again.
