A charming place, enveloped in a magical atmosphere. Even though it was raining and overcast, it was still fascinating. We appreciated the guide’s professionalism and the tour itself. The only downsides were the waiting times and the waiting area.

The Pene Palace guided tour that take you to the private apartments of the King and Queen is excellent. It is quiet and no crowds and the guide was exceptional. Unfortunately the instructions to get to the "meeting place" were non existent and most staff knew nothing about it. They was very worrying done it said you would miss the tour of you were late. If you are in a time entry line, the guards will not let you in to be there 15 mins befor the tour start. We had to go to the grass of the line and demand to be let in at the grass of the line.

The best guided tour ever, and we have had experience with a lot of guided tours in the past. We, a family of four, signed up for a guided tour 16.06.2026 at 13:30 at Pena Palace, however the rest of signed up participants did not show up. The guide, was extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, engaging and enthusiastic. She had a lot of fun facts, had a master in museology and it was a great pleasure to be guided by her. Highly recommended!

This tour was amazing. Our guide was great. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We felt like royalty getting to broad lines and go to parts of the castle that others are not allowed to enter. Highly recommend! If you want to see the grounds plan to be there for 3-4 hours. Also try to get the first tour of the day.

We LOVED the private tour we had in the Pena Palace. It's the only way to see it. We saw so many places and did NOT deal with any crowds. The doors were closed and it was us and the guide.
